Q: How do I reserve a Designated Driver?

A: Call 087 654 0237, 45 minutes before pick up and a booking will be made and a driver dispatched.


Q: What are the operating times for DDSA?

A: We are open from 8am until 1am Monday to Thursday, From 4pm until 3am on Friday and Saturday, and 4pm to 12am on a Sunday.


Q: Do I have to be a member to use DDSA services?

A: We provide world class services and for this reason we only accept members , this enables us to ensure you receive this world class service.


Q: What happens if one of DDSA drivers have an accident in your vehicle?

A: You would firstly need to ensure your vehicle is insured and that your insurance covers for third party drivers. If your vehicle is involved in an accident when using DDSA service , you will need to claim directly from your insurance. Remember we also over emergency services and an armed guard will be dispatched in an event of an accident to ensure your safety , these are valued added service and comes free with your membership


Q: How does the billing work?

A: We will send you an invoice at the end of the week for the trips done for that week and debit it off your bank account in the same billing week.


Q: Must I have my own vehicle?

A: Yes , you will need your own vehicle , we are a designated driver service and we can only drive you in your own vehicle.


Q: When can I cancel my membership?

A: You can cancel at anytime , no strings attached and no penalty charged for cancelling.


Q: Can I drop off my friends along the way home?

A: Yes you can , you will be billed for the kilometres and no additional charges


Q: How long must I wait before my drivers reaches me?

A: Once your booking is confirmed with our call centre, we will dispatch a driver to you. It would take between 45minutes to an hour for a driver to reach you. Our system will keep you informed via sms.


Q: How do I verify a DDSA driver?

A: We will let you know via sms the name of your driver. All our drivers will use identification matching the logo found on this website. If you are still uneasy please give the call centre to clarify.


Q: What happens if I am not happy with the service I have received from a DDSA driver?

A: Please call our call centre or email customerserv@designateddriver.co.za and a case managed will be allocated to investigate the matter.
